IPED students and staff recently took a trip on the public ferry to Rockaway beach for a Friday getaway. Follow along through the photos below!
The trip started in Manhattan at the 90th street pick up. The initial leg of the trip had great close-ups of the city.
After a switch at Wall Street, we were off to Rockaway!
Although the high was supposed to 75 that day, the morning brought blistering winds and cooler temperatures. Many students elected to sit the last part of the trip indoors.
Finally, we made it!
We enjoyed a nice lunch next to the beach just before the weather turned for the better.
The trip back to the city was welcomed by high temperatures and blue skies. A great end to a memorable trip.
