Walamatien Coulibaly, IPED class of 2026, has the opportunity to intern at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York. Currently, Walamatien is a Grants Intern with the Development Team at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York.
As a Grants Intern, he is responsible for the following:
- Researching new foundation and corporate grant opportunities.
- Keep the grants calendar, monthly grants tracker, and instrumental database updated with upcoming grant proposals and reporting deadlines; grant received, approved, submitted, and declined; and any communication/interactions with the donor, respectively.
- Assist in developing letters of intent, reports, and proposals for foundation and corporate funding in coordination with program staff and under the supervision of the Director of Planned Gifts and Institutional Support and the Senior Grants Coordination and Writer.
- Draft acknowledgment letters for foundation and corporate donors.
- Assist in stewardship activities for foundation and corporate donors.
