On Friday, April 29th, the IPED class of ’23 embarked on a ferry trip to Rockaway Beach. The group met at Carl Shurz Park to catch the 90th Street ferry to Wall St. A complementary tour of the landmarks along the east river was given by Dr. S. Once in FiDi and having fueled up on coffee, we caught the Wall St. – Rockaway Beach ferry, which took us along the southern shore of Brooklyn. At Rockaway we stopped at Boardwalk Bagel & Deli to pick up lunch and had a picnic by the beach.
