On August 25th, 2021, six IPEDers Joined Dr. Schwalbenberg (Dr. S) and Donna for a day out on the water. The boat departed Pelham Bay and navigated through the East River and Long Island’s Hempstead Bay. IPEDers had their endurance tested on a hotdog tube towed by the boat and later relaxed in the cool waters of Hempstead Bay. Over lunch, the group had the opportunity to get to know each other further and share their expectations and experiences about the IPED program.
