As an IPED student, Leslie Grullon (’26) had the opportunity to intern at the University Neighborhood Housing Program (UNHP). The University Neighborhood Housing Program is a nonprofit organization promoting affordable housing and community financial stability. Her role involves developing marketing materials and writing and editing newsletters to inform the community about UNHP’s programs and initiatives. She also assists with writing newsletters, blog posts, and other materials. Additionally, she designs and distributes promotional materials like flyers. Furthermore, she updates the website with content and blogs. Moreover, she analyzes data to update reports and write grant proposals for additional funding to the nonprofit. Lastly, she attends community events and meetings to gain content and support initiatives for the community.
