On March 9, 2022 Bridget Bucardo Rivera (IPED ’09) received the Swanstrom-Baerwald award from Fordham IPED and Catholic Relief Services (CRS) in honor of her work in the service of faith through the promotion of international peace and development in Latin America and Zambia. Bridget is currently at CRS headquarters as a Senior Technical Advisor in Capacity Strengthening. Previously she worked as a Regional Growth Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean and as a Business Development and Strategy Manager in Zambia with CRS. The Swanstrom-Baerwald ceremony was followed by a dinner reception where Dr. Meghan J. Clark (Fordham College Rose Hill class of ’03) received the John F. Hurley S.J. Commendation for her commitment to Catholic social teaching and Catholic relief services.
