On October 25, 2024, IPED class 2024 took a career trip to the United Nations (UN). We met with representatives from the UNDP (United Nations Development Programme), UNICEF, and UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees). We had the opportunity to learn about projects these agencies were undertaking and career opportunities at these agencies. We ended the trip with a tour of the UN building and learned about the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development goals and how they aim to achieve them.
