Steven Cook is the Eni Enrico Mattei Senior Fellow for Middle East and Africa Studies and Director of the International Affairs Fellowship for Tenured International Relations Scholars for the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). He is a columnist for Foreign Policy magazine. Prior to CFR, Cook was a research fellow at both the Brookings Institution and the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.
