Elections and Politics in Pakistan

Joining us this week is IPED program alumni Aliyah Sahqani who will be discussing the current events and political affairs of Pakistan, her home country. In the past, Aliyah has worked as a journalist, educational advisor, and program assistant for the UNDP and other development organizations around New York City and D.C. She has a strong background in economic and political research and development. Currently, she is pursuing a second master’s degree in economics at Fordham University.

This event consists of a 30-35 minute presentation followed by 15-20 minutes of Q&A and is open to students, staff, and the public.
