2024 Swanstrom Baerwald Award Ceremony

Join us on  Wednesday, March 13 at 5:30 pm, as we honor one of our alumni, Blain Cerney (Fordham IPED 2010) with the Swanstrom Baerwald Award for his more than a decade of work with Catholic Relief Services.  The Swanstrom Baerwald Ceremony honors our alumni who have shown excellence in the service of faith through the promotion of international peace and development.  The awardee this year is Blaine Cerney, Senior Technical Advisor for CRS in El Ceremony, who had worked extensively in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Among distinguished guests coming to Fordham to celebrate are His Eminence Timothy Cardinal Dolan, the Archbishop of New York, and His Eminence Archbishop Gabriele Caccia, Permanent Observer of the Holy See  to the United Nations.

The event will be held at Keating 1st Auditorium of Fordham’s Rosehill Campus, beginning at 5:30 pm and ending at 6:30 PM. A light reception will follow after the event.
