FIELD ASSESSMENTS

Our students conducted field surveys of a village reforestation project in the Central Luzon province of Nueva Ecija and a village honey processing project in the Eastern Luzon province of Quezon. We are indebted to the Office of Social Concerns and Issues at the Ateneo de Manila University for making our site visits a reality.

CLASSROOM PREPARATION AT THE ATENEO DE MANILA

Prior to conducting their field site visits, our students received intensive training in project assessment, cross cultural communication as well as an introduction to the Philippines. We are very thankful to the Ateneo de Manila University for providing us access to their faculty and classrooms.  We also need to thank the Instiute for Social Order for allowing us to use their dormitories and cafeteria.
