The IPED Class of 2013 in Washington, D.C.
After arriving in DC on the morning of Thursday, November 17 and prior to lunch, two of our alums gave us a briefing on careers with the
US International Trade Administration.
After lunch we proceeded to our next career briefing at the
United States Agency for International Development
where me met with several speakers.
The evening was spent socializing at the Fordham IPED DC Alumni Gathering.
We began our second day, Friday, November 18, with a visit to the
US Foreign Agricultural Service.
After lunch at the US Department of Agriculture we proceeded to Capitol Hill.
Thanks to Senator Max Baucus (D, Montana) we had a tour of the US Capitol and our final briefing by one of our own alums on careers in the
United States Senate.
We are greatly indebted to all our alumni who help put together such an outstanding career trip to Washington, DC.
Many thanks!
